These were used as the basis of instruction for the second year of
STEP (Supercomputer Teacher Enhancement Program) funded by
a grant from the National Science Foundation in 1993 to the
University of California, San Diego.

The program was sponsored by the San Diego Supercomputer Center 
which offerred a three week workshop in July 1994 as the
second in a three year program to enhancement high school
science education in San Diego county by encorporating
computational science examples in the high school class room.
