As we enter the final 2 weeks of Spring 2013, I would like to share some thoughts from scoring the individual 2D games and quickly review a good summary of the general "art" of game design and implementation from Jesse Schell.

Jesse Schell is a well respected author, professor and game designer

Bb allows large files to be uploaded.
Several students submitted multiple copies of their 2D game. It is important to have different file names for these updates. I have been changing the name of the file to be LastNameFirstName_name-used-by-student.zip


Assign#5 - Zip file of your Clean Build of 2D game - due 22March - use this item to upload "unlimited" size zip file

Be sure to include a readme file, or other document, to provide instructions on playing your game and giving credit for the resources you incorporate in your game.  Please follow the instructions for creating Clean Build/zip-file.  Your game must have an initial Splash Screen identifying author (you), game name and brief instructions for use.

In XNA Game Studio, open the project you want to share. 2. On the Build menu, click Clean Solution. This removes any built and intermediate files, leaving only the source code and assets. If you do not have this menu item, see "Cleaning the Solution Before You Build" in Deploying an Xbox 360 Game. 3. Open Windows Explorer, and browse to the folder that contains the project you want to share. 4. Right-click on the project folder in Windows Explorer, click Send To, and then click Compressed (zipped) Folder. The compressed file is ready to share.
