Diana Osborn 11:49 AM (20 hours ago) to sciences-facul., sciences-staff Another round of emails have been received by SDSU email addresses from forged email addresses from varying places with a subject line of "Virus Detected" stating "The San Diego State University Management discovered some Virus in your mail account and in order to clean this virus from your mail account, you will need to upgrade your Web Account Reconfirming to us the below details of your account." I'd like to take this opportunity to state once again that SDSU technical support will never send you an email asking you for your usernames or passwords. Nor will we ever send you to a google doc in which we will ask you to type in any of your usernames and passwords. You should only enter your username and password information into the official web site for the account in question. Always verify that the url you are connected to is the one you expect to be connected to. If you have any questions or if you have received one of these emails and have clicked on any link in it, please contact the CoS Computer Help Desk at x44881 or send email to scechelpdesk@mail.sdsu.edu _______________________________________________ Sciences-faculty mailing list Sciences-faculty@scilists.sdsu.edu http://scilists.sdsu.edu/mailman/listinfo.cgi/sciences-faculty
