My first "professional job", once I discovered Computer Science and completed my Masters degree at SDSU, was with the Math Software Group, at JPL. NASA lab, administered by CalTech, the Jet Propulsion Laboratory is in charge of unmanned missions in space, located just west of the Arroyo Seco in Pasadena.
