Computational Science is the exciting blend of

Science

The Science Discovery web page was created at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) to introduce the general public to the work of scientists.

Computation

At San Diego State University, all students can have accounts on the Unix server Rohan. As soon as you enroll, you can sign up. You will also want to look into the Student Responsibilities for Academic Computer Use

Information development, retrieval, and processing

How many folks have used the Wide World Web? (alot?) Have you had to deal with Info-Overload?

Communications

The computer account that you can have on Rohan also provides you with electronic mail access and the space for your own personal web page. The account will be yours throughout your schooling at SDSU and for six months after you graduate. This will allow you to communicate with fellow students, colleagues, future employers - even your friends at other locations who have access to email. and
